JetSet, one of my bestest friends in the entire world is coming to Texas to visit me today. YAY!!!!!!!

15th Annual Slipper Club Gala on Saturday:

Last year's gala was an absolute blast, I'm so excited for dancing, (drinking...) and more dancing again this year!!

Slight Overreaction?

I love girl scout cookies. I devoted an entire blog entry to my love/hate relationship with girl scout cookies. But this lady takes it to a WHOLE other level.

If you don't feel like reading the article, let me quickly summarize it for you:

Crazy Lady (speaking to Sleeping Roommate): "Where did all the Thin Mints go?!"

Sleeping Roommate: "Uh, I gave them to your kids about 1am, they were awake and said they were hungry."

[Crazy Lady grows 30 feet, body bursting out of her clothes a la the Hulk as she breathes firey rage at the roommate.]

Crazy Lady: "You WHAAAAAAAAAAAT! Those cookies were not for the kids!" [Grabs scissors and attempts to attack Sleeping Roommate. Crazy Lady Husband grabs Crazy Lady, allowing now Sort-of-Awake Roommate to escape. In theory.]

Crazy Lady Husband to Sleeping Roommate: "Run!"

Awake-and-Fearing-for-Her-Life Roommate: "Run? Really? I mean, is she seriously going t - oh, ok this is really happening. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"

Crazy Lady: "Husband, get off me! RARRRRRRRRRRR. Roommate, I'm going to pick up this board and throw it at you. Then I'm going to chase you outside, pick up a sign, and try to beat you with it!!!!!"

Needless to say, she's in jail, charged with aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. And, presumably, no girl scout cookies.

Run.

After all this awful snow, ice and blistering cold (what's the forecast for Wednesday? that would be MORE freezing temps and that lovely "wintry mix"....grrr) I'm desperate for some glimpses of that far off thing called: SUMMER. Yes, I'll settle for Spring, but right now I'm focused on the holy grail of seasons, specifically, spending it dining on patios, wiggling my toes in some sand and swimming in the deep blue sea. Which is why I not only bought a new bathing suit, but I splurged on this beauty tonight:

SF Recap

Thanks to my snow day today, I had a few minutes to finally upload my SF pics. I didn't take many, I was too busy having an amazing time, and the few I did have a funky blue hue :( but, here's what I got!

Bike ride across the Golden Gate bridge, drinks with one of my lovely "sisters", an awesome Sunday Funday, lunch with my cuz, dinner with my Uno, and amazing quality time with the one and only JetSet? In wonderful weather?!

Perfection.
